The Mountains

When I figured out I would not be able to travel to Kyrgyzstan in September as I had been planning for quite some time, I hit a bit of a low. I allowed myself to toss out the dreams I had been nurturing. In no time at all I found myself letting climbing and photography become hobbies that I might pursue in my spare time. What a way to kill a soul. With the start of a new job and a new found interest in investments and security I quickly became something I am not. Gloomy. Tired. Uninspired. Luckily I recognized it early this time. My Visa application is in the mail and I fly out as soon as I get my passport back.

"I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." Henry David Thoreau

Good luck on your upcoming trip to Kyrgyzstan. I'm sure you'll be able to put your newfound photography skills to good use while you're there!
