Located on the Niagara Escarpment, Rattlesnake Point has some of the most beautiful vistas in all of Southern Ontario. These views are especially breath-taking in the fall months when the leaves are changing color.

Two great outdoor pursuits are done at Rattlesnake: hiking and rock climbing.

For the hiker there are 10 km of cliff edge and forest trails with connections to the Bruce Trail and Crawford Lake.

For climbers there are three designated climbing areas consisting of well over 25 distinct routes.


Directions:

From Highway 401, take Highway 25 south to Steeles Avenue, west on Steeles to Appleby Line, south on Appleby for 3 km.

From Q.E.W., take Appleby Line north; 1 km north of Derry Road on top of escarpment

(Effective January 1 ยท 2007. Rates are subject to change) Adult (15 โ€“ 64) - $5.00 Child (5 โ€“ 14) - $3.50 Child (4 & under) โ€“ No charge Seniors (65 and over with valid ID) - $4.00 Self service box fees (per vehicle or party) when no attendant on duty - $5.00
